I appreciate the woodsy, camping aesthetic of this video; it's achingly beautiful. I also appreciate your enthusiasm about this thoughtful, engaging and fun game that will connect me with the ones I love while going off grid and all mod cons when camping. The fact that you did it in the rain was perfection; we play the hand we're dealt. the fact that you showed the play on a mossy stump - swoon. thanks just doesn't seem adequate.

Hive is my longest running board game obsession, I might even go so far as to call it my favourite game. I got it for my birthday like8 or so years ago and have been playing constantly

tlotr lcg has it owns special charm. I love deckbuilding, but mtg has weaknesses like it hardly can be played casual after diving into formats. This lcg provides enough depth for deckbuilding and different scenarios prevent repetetive matchups. And it is the first co-op game that I enjoy. It hides enough information to force even the new player to make own decisions instead of the veteran decisdes everything for the group like in most co-op games. A co-op mtg with campaigns is a good concept. *Oh, and it got a better reprint if the base game! (Repacked expansion prints announced.)*

That is the nerdiest, funniest, most passionate and most informative review I've seen in a long while. Actually, I've watched it three times or so. Will try to get the game from private as it looks like it's sold out everywhere. It has been a while since your last video. Please don't stop making videos.

The Hive Pocket can be played on a smaller surface than the standard size Hive. I can squeeze it into a loaded backpack. It's always in my backpack now. I recreate games I've played on the mobile game. Once you know the pieces, you can remember their moves much like chess. I didn't hesitate to get the pillbug as it already had the first two expansions.

My fiance got this for me, and it's so spooky!! We got an old rusty key, and a lot of documents about a "John Angel" and one single document about a John Neil (Spooky!). No character cards though, and none of the same documents as you. So excited to play this!

Thank you for the review. You convinced me to buy it. Luckily I found the Base game as well as Outer Planets expansion. Had to order Stations from the developer. I'm guessing I have at least a 3-month wait for that to arrive. I'll start with just the base game. I'm sure there is enough there to keep me busy until Stations arrives in a 1/4 year. :-)

I like how you related the comeback of tabletop gaming as a response to our overdigitalized and distanced culture. It's been a joy discovering tabletop games, mostly to bond with my son who is 8 now and to keep him from falling in with videogames for as long as I can. They have provided amazing experiences for us and I am surprised by how they challenge him to grow. Some of our favorites are Dragonwood, BattleLore 2e, Robinson Crusoe, 7 Wonders Duel, chess, and king of tokyo. I just bought Onitama, and thanks to your video I plan on getting Hive and eventually Raptor.

I've just moved into a new home and finally have room to setup a stop motion work space. I was looking at armatures and was not sure which to go with. Do you have any recommendations? I'm a big time hobby gamer and remember that you did the teaser for Tapestry. I thought i would pop by and rewatch this for some inspirado! Just got into this game and bought the first 5 cycles and the corresponding box expansions and massing at osgilsty and a second core

I actually just bought the game! It has a bit of an Infinity Train vibe from the description!

Been playing it for 3 days with my 6 year old son. I've never seen him so focused and while I've been helping him win atleast 50% of the time, he's starting to form real strategy. It's an amazing game that seems to grow with you.

I love the fade out at the end. I remember when songs used to do that. Now they just end. Good to see another video.
